Just a quick email to commend the staff in your Manchester store, we visited on 02/04 and were actually on our way to another ramen restaurant we had bookings for but cancelled after looking at your menu. My son has a peanut allergy so eating out can be quite stressful, before I even mentioned it your staff member on the doorstep asked about allergies and assured us that our son could be accommodated without issue. This is incredibly reassuring as a parent whose child has anaphylaxis and gives me confidence in the food that will be served to him. All staff members we had contact with were polite and attentive, and hats off to the chef’s because the food was the best we’ve had outside of Asia, it was truly outstanding and we are all so disappointed we live so far away in Ireland that we cannot frequent more often. Compliments aren’t often as freely given as criticism so I wanted to make a point of thanking the staff in Manchester for a truly great lunch. Thank you so much! We look forward to visiting again soon!

Great service and ambience. The servers were dressed in authentic Japanese clothes and following the tradition of welcoming the guests. We ordered few dishes and all of them were delicious and fresh. Highly recommended!

Coming down from Inverness, we needed a place to stop and eat. Well, we decided to give this place a shot when we saw the huge line in Edinburgh. So many vegan options and we were blown away. Great service and we actually even went to Manchester on the way down from the Lake District the 3 days later to have another bowl of ramen at their Manchester branch. Go for it! You won't be disappointed!

Had a lovely dinner here with my partner. I had the black garlic tonkotsu and he had the tan tan, both of them were delicious (and came out of the kitchen really quickly despite it looking like a very busy night). The firmness of the noodles was spot-on, and all the toppings were lovely. Everything is presented absolutely beautifully as well - I wish I'd gotten more photos, but please enjoy my one alright one! The service was also great, all of the staff we interacted with seemed lovely. We'll definitely be back here! Dietary restrictions: There are very good vegetarian and vegan options, as we got asked twice - on entry and when our order was taken - if we had any allergies, which I thought was very good!

Brilliant and consistent service from the whole team - including Sam and Amy!! We shared the kimchi (amazing portion), Miso soup and miso broth vegan ramen - all were to an exceptional standard. I also ordered the Geisha’s Kiss cocktail which was served with a surprise splendour which I will keep a secret in order to not ruin it for others, very impressed though! We decided to not go for dessert and we were met with complimentary shots after a few moments, which was a fabulous touch! Thank you so much Maki & Ramen - we are visiting Leeds for only three days and can guarantee we will return.
